Defiance main characters are absolutely great. I specially love female characters: Irisa, Stahma Tarr, and Amanda Rosewater. Three brave women, with very different and remarkable personalities. Who do you prefer?
Irisa Nyira is a member of an alien species known as “Irathients”. She is smart, independent and aggressive. Irisa still struggles with the weight of her tragic childhood. A war orphan that Joshua Nolan found abandoned in what was once Denver.
Nolan rescued Irisa and they are inseparable. In fact, she only stays in Defiance due to the loyalty she feels for Nolan.
“She was in a bad situation. I rescued her and raised her. She’s a good girl.” Joshua Nolan.
The role is played by Stephanie Leonidas.
Stahma Tarr is Datak Tarr wife. Both of them are members of the Castithan alien species. She is beautiful, and seems to be docile. However, beneath the surface, it lies a dark side. In fact, she can be far more dangerous than her violent husband.
Her enemies and even her husband and son should take care!

Amanda Rosewater is idealistic and very intelligent. She is from New York. The War with the Votans began in 2023 when she was 11 years old. From then, she has taken care of her sister Kenya. Now, she is in her 40’s but she is still very sexy.
Amanda Rosewater: Keep this ceremony confined in the hollows.
